It is possible to take a boat trip from here into The Solent. The local station is also within a few minutes; walk from where you can catch a train to Lymington Pier for the ferry to Yarmouth, Isle of Wight or Brockenhurst for the New Forest and further afield. There are plenty of local attractions within an easy drive that can be visited from Lymington including Beaulieu Motor Museum, the villages within the New Forest, south coast beaches at Milford on Sea and Bournemouth.
